Fishworld is one of the North West's oldest established aquatic shops, having been established for over 38 years. Over the years there has been changes in ownership and, naturally, each change has brought improvements to the shop – in both service and products.

Originally catering for just tropical freshwater and coldwater fish it expanded its services to include tropical saltwater fish some 28 years ago and was one of the first in the area to stock marines. In 2008 the current owner (Matthew Hamill) virtually doubled the size of the marine section.

One of the unique aspects of our website is that the photos of our stock of marine and tropical fish is updated on a regular basis. The marine section is, in fact, updated on a weekly basis and the photos are of fish and corals that are actually in the shop at the time.
