TetraAqua Blackwater Extract - available in 100ml bottle

Recreates the blackwater conditions found in many tropical streams and rivers

Application

Add 5ml of Blackwater Extract per 10 litres (2 gallons) of aquarium water initially, followed by 2.5ml per 10 litres (2 gallons) every 1-2 weeks, as part of your normal maintenance schedule. Blackwater Extract may initially turn the aquarium water a slight brown colour, until the ingredients have fully dissipated. Activated carbon and other chemical filter media may remove Blackwater Extract, and so should be removed during its use.
